Harvey Field practice

Since the Olympic Fly-in was coming up quick, I wanted to get some soft field practice so I headed up to Harvey Field (S43) for some departures and landings on their ample grass field.

Flying the Dawgs departure out of BFI
Descending north of Lord Hill into the Snoqualmie basin
Grass runway 33L at Harvey Field (S43) is a great soft field practice strip
Downtown Seattle from north of Bellevue
Bellevue’s high rises look tiny beneath my feet
Return track with some steep turns over Lake Sammamish

What a night! 1.5 hours, 5 landings, 3 on grass
