Ski Artist Point, May 2023

Danielle, Katt. Riley and I skied Artist Point from Heather Meadows on May 20th. We camped in the valley the night before and cooked red pepper pasta for dinner, and a brisket and potato hash for breakfast. Yum! Unfortunately due to the unseasonably warm conditions, the snow hadn’t “corned up,” and to make matters worse, by time we got up to Artist Point, the clouds descended and visibility was meh. So, we got a single run in on wet, slow snow, but hey, whaddya goin do? Stay home?! We hadn’t seen Danielle in a couple years, so it was great catching up with an old friend nonetheless!

Brisket potato red pepper hash, one of our favorite camp brekkies! Double Barrel BBQ in Sedro-Woolley provided the sliced brisket! YUMM!
