Approach to landing on Runway 18 at Polson, Montana (8S1) in a Cessna 172 just after sunset. I love this approach as it is over Flathead Lake and just above a restaurant and bar with a deck located near the end of the runway. They must love the planes floating in right over their heads! Here’s a very short clip of me flying a Cessna 172 over the Rattlesnake Wilderness north of Missoula, Montana. The Mission mountains are visible on the horizon, as well as an undercast through the entire Flathead valley.
