Campbell Hill, OH, US Highpoint #11, 26 February 2004.

Campbell Hill, Ohio, lies at 1,550 feet MSL and is ranked #43 in elevation among US Highpoints. This would be my 8th highpoint of 2004. Campbell is on the campus of a vocational school, housing a cosmetology school at the time of my visit. At the time, this was the easiest high point I’d visited as it was a level walk on a sidewalk only a couple of feet away from parking.

Photo showing my Subaru parked next to the Ohio highpoint. Likely among the shortest hikes to a high point anywhere.
Had there been any snow it would be fun to ski or sled down the hill from the top, located under the flag at center photo.

One of the highlights of this part of the trip was driving the back roads between Hoosier Hill and here, and surprisingly passing the Hartzell propellor factory on the way.

From here I would head to Mount Frissell Connecticut
